This is a partnership between me and you. Let’s call it a joint venture in understanding how the world works.

I am not an economist by training. Rather, my background is in finance – the eldest offspring of mother economics. Because of this, I am not married to a single school of thought. In fact, I believe that most schools of economics have varying degrees of ‘correctness’. This means that this sight is not dogmatic in its view on particular issues – as the editor of Plan B Economics I am open to a wide range of conflicting ideas. The world is not black and white.

Plan B Economics features articles and ideas from academics and industry practitioners from around the world. As an independent outlet, Plan B Economics is free to explore both the core and fringe theories circulating the world of economics and finance today. In doing so, Plan B Economics hopes to provide a holistic and unbiased view of global economics, investing, geopolitics and social issues to its readers.

Our only agenda is to make this world a better place for the individual. Consequently, our views often clash with those of the mainstream, which (believe it or not) has no interest in helping anyone but a small group of power-hungry elites.

This is not a for profit venture. However, the website still has bills to pay. Plan B Economics covers its expenses via pay per click, pay per view, affiliate and content-embedded advertising on the website. From time to time, Plan B Economics may also sell original works.
