This is a side of reality that’s becoming not as easy to ignore. It’s so difficult because it’s the pervasive poverty of spirit that is so defeating.
    Thank you for posting this.

At 13:30 those children who don’t have food at home: What has happened to the food stamps and Wic? Are these families not using them or selling them or mis-using them? This needs to be investigated. No child should be fed rat. There has to be help…St. Vincent de Paul…Salvation Army? I hate how poor we are becoming. We need to help each other out and realize Fed-Gov won’t/can’t do it

Nations have collapsed under the weight of their own ‘success’. When we were prosperous (eg 1980s and 1990s) we collectively made decisions that ensured our success was fleeting.

Those of us with a supportive family, solid roof and a full time job don’t realize how good we have it. Next time someone complains about the crowded train or the barista that under filled their coffee, show them this video.

Rats actually taste pretty good. Just like eating Squirrel. Sparrows, mice and wild onions make great stew. You should try it sometime soon because I’m sure you’ll be forced to in the not too distant future.

LOL…this ASS looks like he hasn’t missed any meals. I’d like to see him lose his money and his job, and we’ll see how long it takes him to feel hunger. What a major ASS!!!

What bill is saying is correct. Now we have planned parenthood demoralizing our children. Then on top of that we have Michelle telling our kids and military men what to eat. Then take the food that mother made right out of the kids mouth. What if the kid is allergic to some food that was being served that day. Try sueing Michelle — good luck. It is time to kick these jack-asses out of our country. Then need to go NOW, not January. They still can do plenty of damage that we couldn’t reverse.!!!!!!

liberals did this? Sure they helped, especially the loathsome turd, Barney Frank. But what of the banker’s friend, Republican Phil Gramm, who worked behind the scenes to deregulate banking? It was Republicans who finally brought down the Glass- Steagall Act? I bet you don’t hear that from Rushbo

  • Iam Marlowe

Dammit Bill, you are correct. However, you did forget to mention how MaBamma runs around wagging her ugly twig-like finger at poor unwed mothers in the Newark ghetto, telling them they should be feeding their children organic fruits and vegetables when they can barely afford peanut butter & jelly & bread for them!!!!! 8-0

  • Rigel5876

Thats because it was the last act of the clinton administration as they headed for the door with stolen white house property repealing the glass-steagall act so check your facts!

corperatefair is good but to feed the people who lost jobs because of corporate greed is a just cause. Its time we served them with homeless ness. These people don’t deserve to be called human. They should all be stripped of their ill gotten wealth and given to the people they ahve caused to be out of work. The real crooks live in big houses and talk much trash about hard work all the time stealing all the wealth of this land for them and their four and no more.If you want to hard work start at the lowest paid jobs and you will see what hard work is.Yet these people want to keep every penny for the 1% on top and let the rest perish. We gave GM a big bailout although its owned by the Rockerfellersyes standard oil rocks. Then as soon as it got the taxpapers money it takes the jobs to other countries while our fellow citizens go homeless and hungry then geta blamed for not having jobs.Maybe you should make a high speed rail system to take them to china so they can do the jobs that have been taken from them.I say fire and arrest all the coroperations who don’t pay taxes and the rich who hide in tax shelters off shore while athe ones who helped them get that wealth sit and starve. There should be a special place reserved in hell for them thank GOD I am not Yahushua cause I would send them like yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course they will be right at home with their popa satan.

Forgive the Ms. Marple approach to economics, that I seem to have,(being a teacher I see group dynamics play out in a smaller but telling drama ….and a microcosm doesn’t always mimic the macro…but often it does) but sometimes I believe a pivotal flaw in general growth is complacency. I see it in the classroom and I see it in governments and businesses.

Resting on our laurels generally gets short term gain and long term loss. I think this is where we are right now.

I for one, am grateful every single day.

This, and worse, is exactly the condition our fearless leaders have intended to bring us to for decades.

The Gospel Mission, Salvation Army, your Local Churches, are ALL feeding people everyday and keeping up and expanding their outreach. The Buzz that they are not providing when they were rushed with a Huge influx of participants lasted a very little time. During the Buzz there are reports of MIRACLES in provision where supplies used did not dwindle or reduce .When in THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA if you go hungry or let your children go hungry it’s on you. This form of journalism on the U.S,A, always neglects reality, we feed people here and the world NOT the government . The institutions named above are not failing but people are thriving because of them. The man in this video is telling you the truth, children go hungry in this country due to their parents decisions I see these withdrawn children as abused with troubled parents Blame the lack of jobs on government but the responsibility to feed the poor is the CHURCH’s and is being met well while the government fails ……………………

The Dream is Gone! It vanished when our congress walked away from the table on Medical care for everyone and when they walked away from the table when they were supposed to put a budget together. The dream died when the congress refused to tax their rich friends, because they would loose favor with their contributors. THANKS CONGRESS! YOU GOT YOURS!

There is no missing the propaganda in this brief documentary but this is happening. There are many poor people struggling however, the churches and community outreaches should help and work together with compassion. Some have messed up their lives but some are truly struggling as a result of the economy especially the children.

My wife and I have it made compared to these poor folks and we do have to watch every penny we spend now as Seasoned citizens! Coupons and clearance items have helped us a lot, We both put in 40 years each in the Job market! We now can live just off our SS, pretty well, luckily we paid off the house and car before retiring. We figure we can live till 2037 when SS goes totally broke, because we would be about 88 yrs old at that time. A good time to cash in the chips.

Obama s spending spree has to stop now! Stop all foreign aid to those SOB countries who hate us! Get Our troops out of Japan, Korea ,Italy, and the Middle East. Those nut jobs have been killing each other for 1000s of Years. These Goat herders do not care about having Democracy. Let them kill each other off in the name of their respective Religions!

And again, it’s no surprise that the lefty media conveniently skipped over Obama’s first TWO years of full control with a Democrat House and Senate. They jump right into year three of his presidency and villainize Newt Gingrich — a candidate who is a long-shot even to get the nomination.

As usual, our Dear Leader has been absolved of any blame or responsibility, for what is largely HIS mess.

  • Jim-Bob

Part of the problem with this program is that it is not as simple as the presenters seem to think that it is. As to the health care issue, forcing large employers of those on the bottom to provide health care will not really work. If memory serves, the coverage is only for those who are employed full time. Thus, what will happen is that the poor who work in the service industry that get near 40 hours a week now will have their hours cut below the insurance threshold ( I think it is around 25 hours per week). That means that the poorest will still have no insurance but will instead have their income drastically cut AND be forced to pay a fine for not being able to pay for an insurance policy. As this fine is only paid when uninsured services are needed it will mean that the poor will no longer seek out any sort of health care services unless they are on a pro bono basis. As usual, liberalism once again ends up being more of a burden for the poor than a benefit.

By the way, I am a member of the working near-poor. I deliver pizza for a living and have no health insurance but do have a mortgage (and no other debt or children). If the scenario plays out as I believe it will then there will be one more home foreclosed on and I will be forced to live with family. It will destroy my ability to finish my education and get out of poverty. There is simply no way I can both pay my tuition and pay for health insurance. I don’t want a handout; I just want the government to stay out of my life and let me make the decisions I need to make in order to improve my future.

Obama is just the latest tyrant. American is seeing the fruit of 60 years of socialism and abandonment of God. Capitalism and God’s Natural Law are gone except in small pockets of our country. Even Dr. Ron Paul can not save the central government now. Look for more social chaos in our cities and a continued march to the New World Order. Ridiculous you say? Just look in the Scriptures. Not a Christian? Say what you want about Christians, but at least we have an exit strategy.

It seriously breaks my heart seeing these kids hurting….esp. a kid developing ulcers from stress….I can see these kids getting desperate and getting into drugs or getting pregnant to try and escape this misery.

When Las Vegas is held up as the model of capitalism, you know right off the bat this program is going to be more fantasy than reality. Did anyone notice that the majority of these poor people were substantially overweight? You can’t get that way without consuming more calories than you need; if you go hungry from time to time, it isn’t lack of food that is the problem but bad timing in its consumption. And then there’s the guy living in the tunnel, puffing on his $5+ pack of cigarettes.

Funny how upward mobility is declining over the same decades that saw entitlements run rampant. When my grandparents and parents were poor, they understood they had to live frugally and work hard. As a result, they didn’t stay poor, but became middle class, while their children and grandchildren became PhDs and millionaires. Now if you’re poor, you spend the first 18 years of your life being told that you should be angry that the government isn’t taking better care of you or that “the 1%” got theirs. Hardly the mind-set that leads to frugal living and hard work – and the advancement that comes from that.

  • Mark Coudriet

Wow, they cut out Gingrichs full response to kids working at school. That alone speaks volumes as to the intent of the material. Media bias in favor of keeping Obama in office and further dividing Americans…

To much greed and the trillion dollar war in one country with a second war in the country next door all pushed by the republicans ran the national debt through the roof. the greed of the bankers took homes away from people. the greed of the corporationthey could not sell their products on the markets to pay for their wage increases so they shiped the jobs to other countries that did not pay the workers like the american worker then they got their friends in congress to cut their taxs on income and businesses. this is what the party of the corporation plan to bring the work force of America down to meet the rest of the worlds workers. thank you with a little checking of the congressinal records you can see that there is more that i could have said.

Thanks so much for your comment! You brought up several points that I was trying to wrap my mind around. Good ammunition for those quasi-socialists I have to argue with at work every blessed day who try to make me look like an evil bastard for being a libertarian. Their solution to this? More government programs! Yeah, buddy…that’ll work.
