Interesting video…the satisfaction of receiving praise from others who congratulate our plans is a substitute for actually achieving the goal. Therefore, we are less likely to take action on our goals if we tell others (and receive praise). Personally, I don’t like to talk about my goals because I’d rather tell people through my actions, not through my speech. Adds new meaning to ‘talk is cheap’.

I believe this is so true, Plan B.
As an artist, I NEVER talk about the ideas before I actually make them a reality. I have found over the many years, that sometimes just talking about the process erodes the need to do it and can fundamentally change not just the intention but the evolution necessary to have an idea come to rich fruition.
Actions always speak louder than words!

This is a very interesting topic. Until now I didn’t really think about how talking about plans actually impact the plans. I wonder if there’s any more research out there on this topic.
