According to an analysis of newly released IRS data by economists Thomas Piketty and Emmanuel Saez, the top 1% saw incomes rise by over $500,000 while the bottom 90% saw incomes rise by just over $1,000. Income disparity is growing in the US and this could eventually cause an evaporation of the remaining middle class.
Take away the middle class and you’re left with an entrenched elite class and the desperate masses who will do anything to survive.
America was built off the democratization of wealth creation…without this, America would be a faint outline of its former self.
