Is it really is possible to be bored to death? Researchers have found that people who live tedious lives are twice as likely to die young.

I doubt boredom causes health problems. It’s more likely that the type of people who get bored are the same types that suffer health problems. A person who doesn’t take action on their mental health to avoid boredom probably does the same for their physical health.

“The findings on heart disease show there was sufficient evidence to say there is a link with boredom.

“It is important that people who have dull jobs find outside interests to keep boredom at bay, rather than turn to drinking or smoking.”
