2009 gross sales into the Canadian mutual fund industry were concentrated in the top 10 CIFSC sub categories. Excluding money market funds, these categories accounted for 3/4 of all industry sales. Within the top CIFSC sub categories, 7 were balanced and income-oriented.
Conservatism reigns supreme.
